Mt. Carmel members are being reminded and encouraged to attend our Semi-Annual Conference and Leaders' Ministry meeting at the fellowship hall, Saturday, January 14th at 8:00 AM. Auxiliary heads are asked to present a training plan for accomplishing the mission and goals of their ministry. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 AM.
Pastor Moore will deliver the sermon and the Mt. Carmel Church family, deacon, choirs and ushers will preside over services celebrating the 152nd Anniversary of First African Baptist Church. Service wil begin at 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 15th. All members are encouraged to attend.
The annual parade honoring Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr. will be held Monday, January 16th at 10:00 AM. Mt. Carmel youth are asked to please sign up in the foyer to ride the float or walk the parade route. All participants are asked to be at the parade take-off site no later than 9:30 AM.
The Youth Department is sponsoring a Country Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 8 AM - 11 AM. The cost of the breakfast is $10. Please see a member of the Youth Department to purchase tickets.
The Deacon's Ministry and the congregation of 2nd Celestial Baptist Church has invited Pastor Moore and the entire Mt. Carmel Church family to preside over the Pastoral Installation Service for Reverend Franklin Ruth. Installation services will take place Sunday, January 22nd at 3:00 PM. All members are encouraged to attend.
