Minister Tanesia Belvin

Tanesia Latrimiece Belvin was born in 1979 to Robyn P. Mathews and Terry Lee Jackson in Saginaw, MI.  She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the tender age of six, and was first baptized at Freewill Missionary Baptist Church.

In 1998, Tanesia graduated with honors from Arthur Hill High School and M J Murphy Beauty College where she obtained a degree in cosmetology.  In 1999 she married her high school sweet heart, Lamont F. Belvin, and moved to Cherry Point, NC where he served in the Marine Corps.  In June of 2000, while attending Bible Believers Full Gospel Fellowship Church, Lamont ushered Tanesia to the alter where she rededicated her life back to God, and they became a part of that local church family.  From that moment on, her life was never the same.  The Lord continued doing a good work in her life and in 2002 she was ordained to the Christian Ministry.

They relocated to Beaufort, SC in February 2003 where she served in the Campus Crusade for Christ Parris Island Ministry.  Minister Belvin taught recruits the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

After visiting for over a year, the Belvins, in October 2004, finally joined the Mt. Carmel Family where Tanesia serves as a Minister of the Gospel.  In 2007 they received orders to Pensacola, Florida and after more than two years they returned to Beaufort and the Mt. Carmel church family.  They are the proud parents of two children, Lynnesia Victoria and Lamont Frank, Jr.

Minister Belvin enjoys sharing the Gospel with others, and teaching how to live victoriously through Christ Jesus.  She looks forward to what lies ahead, and knows that the Spirit of God has even greater things in store for his people. He has already offered it, but it is up to us to receive it.
